The foremost prerequisite for any medical college is its teaching hospitals. Since its inception     Women Medical College has been attached with two private hospitals namely Hira General & Rehmat Memorial Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad as it teaching hospitals. Prior to this both of the hospitals remained the teaching hospitals of another private sector medical college of Abbottabad.

Quite recently, as the result of a high public private partnership between Women Medical College and the Government of N.W.F.P., the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ), Abbottabad has been associated with Women Medical College as its Teaching Hospital. DHQ, Abbottabad has previously been the teaching hospital of Ayub Medical College for more than 22 years. Being an efficient Government hospital situated at the center of the town DHQ Hospital has the capacity of upto 600 beds.

• DHQ Hospital remained Teaching Hospital of Ayub Medical College for more than 20 years and has a capacity of 600 beds.
